MEMS Fabrication Technology
MEMS fabrication technology is used to precisely control the ejection of minute droplets of ink, each several picolitres (a picolitre is one trillionth of a litre) in volume, to produce the highest quality prints.
This technology can also be used to create print heads with nozzles arranged in a variety of ways, leading to higher droplet placement accuracy and better image quality.
VSDT (variable ink droplet technology)
Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) precisely controls the voltage that drives the piezoelectric elements so that the same nozzle can eject ink droplets of various sizes.
VSDT enables the printhead to produce beautiful images rendered at high speed with delicate brightness, smooth gradations, and reduced graininess.
